Role Description

This listing is for one paid task in the Kled app: "Code With Your Explanation". There is no interview and no minimum hours: download the app, open the task, and you are paid per accepted submission.

• Paste in code you wrote, a script, a function, a query, a spreadsheet formula, then explain what it does and why you built it that way.

Steps:

• Paste code you wrote yourself
• Explain what it does
• Explain why you built it that way, and what approach you rejected
• Submit

What gets rejected:

• Do not paste code you did not write
• Do not skip the reasoning stage
• Do not submit two-line snippets

Accepted: Code you wrote yourself, plus an explanation of both what it does and why you chose that approach.

Pay

• $7.00 per accepted sample. At a typical pace of about 12 minutes per sample, that is about $35 per hour.
• One sample takes about 12 minutes and pays $7.00.
• One sample per contributor. You are paid per accepted submission (piecework, independent contractor); submissions that break the rules are not paid.
• Payouts are made in the app (PayPal, Venmo or a Solana wallet).

Where and when

• Open worldwide: the task runs in 100+ countries.
• Remote, on your own schedule.
• Independent contractor, piecework; this is not an employment position.

What you need

• An iPhone running iOS 18.6 or later (the Kled app is iPhone-only right now)
• 18 or older
• Your own writing, typed in the app

How to start

• Download Kled from the App Store: Kled App
• Create your account and open Tasks.
• Search "Code With Your Explanation", read the brief and follow the on-screen steps.
• Submit. Accepted submissions are paid in the app.
