[Hiring] Senior Sourcing Specialist @Jabil

Role Description

The Sr. Sourcing Specialist at Jabil, Inc. will be responsible for strategically managing and optimizing the procurement of direct and indirect materials and services to support global manufacturing operations. This role involves:

• Developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans for assigned commodities, ensuring alignment with Jabil's overall business objectives.
• Conducting market research and supplier analysis to identify potential new suppliers and assess current supplier capabilities.
• Leading the entire Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes, including vendor selection and evaluation.
• Negotiating favorable terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to achieve significant cost savings and improve overall value.
• Managing supplier relationships, including performance monitoring, risk assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure material availability and quality.
• Identifying and implementing opportunities for supply chain optimization, including lead time reduction, inventory management, and logistics improvements.
• Resolving complex supplier issues, including quality discrepancies, delivery delays, and contractual disputes.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant Jabil policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Preparing and presenting reports on sourcing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements.
