[Hiring] Contract Platform Engineer @YLD

Role Description

As a Senior Software Engineer at YLD, you’ll be part of a client team building innovative products. We’re looking for someone curious, passionate, driven, and enthusiastic. You should be skilled in problem-solving and experienced in designing scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant architectures. You’re also an effective communicator and a strong team player. Qualifications

• Deep Kubernetes knowledge, including the API, controllers, scheduling, and networking.
• Solid experience with Golang, to the level where you can write, test, and maintain a Kubernetes operator.
• Terraform, to the level where you own and review the modules that provision clusters.
• Hands-on AWS experience is mandatory; experience with other cloud providers is a plus.
• A working grasp of distributed systems: consistency models, replication, consensus, and network partitions.
• Experience in regulated or financial systems.
• Comfortable working with AI tools for most of your day, with the judgement to review their output and to adopt new technologies where they add value.
