Role Description
The Senior Solution Architect is a leader in the Hitachi Solutions organization, working to envision innovative, automated solutions in the Microsoft cloud environment. This role involves:
- Partnering with the Sales team to drive the solution sales process from inception through close.
- Collaborating with Delivery Domains from project initiation through blueprint to ensure the vision established in presales is carried forward throughout delivery.
- Scoping engagements, discovering and analyzing high-level requirements, and defining solution architectures with clients, sales, and implementation teams.
- Communicating with client IT leadership and the C-suite, translating business needs into technical architecture, development standards, and data & process governance.
- Leading in a dynamic, demanding environment.
Qualifications
- Mastery of Dynamics 365 solutions including previous experience with Dynamics 365 design, architecture, configuration, customization, and deployment.
- 8+ years’ experience delivering complex enterprise solutions leveraging Microsoft Dynamics or similar.
- 8+ years’ experience working with cross-functional teams and heavily matrixed organizations.
- 4+ years’ experience performing and leading pre-sales activities including deal cost estimation and resource planning.
- Experience in Power Platform, Power Apps, Data / AI, Customer Insights, Power BI, preferred.
- Ability to express complex technical and business concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently & support sales pursuits with a geographically dispersed team.
- Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must be a self-directed learner with a problem-solving attitude.
- Highly self‐motivated, self‐directed, and attentive to detail.
- Experience in contract development preferred.
- Certification in relevant Microsoft discipline(s) preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
Requirements
- Traveling up to 50% annually to support sales pursuits.
- Reports to Senior Director, Solution Architecture.
