[Hiring] Senior Account Executive @EBSCO

Role Description

As an Account Executive in the Academic, Medical & Corporate Market your primary responsibility is to increase sales and generate growth across multiple product lines. You will accomplish this by:

• Prospecting, managing relationships, and following marketing leads and market trends.
• Coordinating activities with your outside/support counterparts in sales, as well as Sales Management, Marketing, and Customer Satisfaction in your assigned markets.

This remote position is U.S.-based only (excluding U.S. territories).

What You'll Do

• Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
• Manage a pipeline of sales opportunities, in partnership with your outside sales representative and sales support specialist, from identification through to close.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales of products and services to academic institutions, healthcare institutions, and corporations.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at Academic, Medical, and Corporate institutions, including librarians, information specialists, procurement managers, clinicians, c-suite executives, faculty, and knowledge managers.
• Meet established call and activity metrics by generating activity in direct selling situations through telephone calls and virtual meetings, including performing live demos and managing related follow-up.
• Understand the competitive landscape and how to target and sell against competition.
• Understand and participate in customizing product offerings and pricing for new and existing customers.
• Effectively collaborate with Sales Support and Outside Sales counterparts to maintain multiple account management tools to manage all aspects of the sales process, and leverage these to help EIS better understand and meet the needs of customers.

You will be welcomed as a member of the Academic, Medical & Corporate Sales team, a team of about 50 inside/outside sales representatives and sales support specialists, as well as the wider Sales & Marketing teams and our entire EBSCO family. About You

• 5+ years of sales experience in related industries.
• 5+ years of proven sales track record, achieving sales milestones and target goals.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers at all levels of an organization.

Pay Range

USD $69,530.00 - USD $99,325.00 /Yr.
