[Hiring] Sales Representative – New Business Development @Legends EOR

Role Description

Lead new business development for an agentic AI executive search platform, owning the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting and discovery through to product demonstrations, negotiation and close.

Location: South Africa | Remote / Flexible | Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm | Salary: R25,000 – R35,000 + Uncapped Commission

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within SaaS, HR technology or recruitment technology.
• Familiarity with the executive search or recruitment industry, with an understanding of how search professionals work and what slows them down.
• Confident running discovery calls and product demonstrations with senior stakeholders.
• Able to build a sales pipeline from scratch rather than relying solely on inbound leads.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex AI-driven products simply and credibly.
• Comfortable using a consultative, value-led sales approach rather than high-volume transactional selling.
• Experience using CRM and outreach tools.
• Based in South Africa with knowledge of the local and regional talent market.

Requirements

• Own the full sales cycle, from cold outreach and discovery calls through to product demonstrations, proposals, negotiation and close.
• Prospect for new business across boutique and mid-market executive search firms, retained search practices and corporate in-house talent functions.
• Run product demonstrations that translate the platform's agentic AI capabilities into tangible ROI for search professionals.
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline using the company’s platform, LinkedIn and outbound sequencing.
• Develop relationships with key decision-makers, typically search firm owners, partners and heads of talent.
• Articulate the platform’s competitive differentiation against legacy ATS and CRM platforms, including Bullhorn and Invenias.
• Feed market intelligence back to the product and marketing teams based on what prospective buyers care about.
• Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly new business targets.
