Role Description

Rangerbid.com, part of the Miedema Asset Management Group, is looking for a driven, self-motivated sales professional to help grow our online auction business. In this commission-based role, you'll build relationships with municipalities, construction companies, farm and agricultural operations, and businesses of all sizes looking to sell vehicles, equipment, and other larger assets. You'll be backed by the resources and reputation of a multi-company platform with deep roots in the auction and asset liquidation industry, giving you the tools to bring real value to your clients. Qualifications

• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• High School Diploma
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Motivated, Self-Starter
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organized

• Auction experience (recommended but not required)
• 5+ years sales experience
• 5+ years customer service
• Industrial machine knowledge
• Construction equipment knowledge
• General equipment knowledge

Essential Job Functions

• Seek out, pursue, clients that are looking to sell large equipment items (i.e. Trailers, tractors, trucks).
• Communicate efficiently the benefits of selling items through online auction.
• Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients.
• Stay up-to-date on relevant information i.e. Liquidations, bankruptcies, and other heavy equipment sales.
• Effectively communicate with Sales Manager, Operations Manager, and other Sales Associates.
• Continuing follow up and customer service with customers after sales.
• Follow through on any leads to create a relationship with clients.

Typical Duties

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel, keep detailed record of sales totals to be reported as requested.
• Effectively communicate with other divisions of the Company to develop the best course of action based on needs of the customer.
• Develop early sales goals and plan to achieve them.
• Attend all Sales and Marketing meetings, when required.
• Develop effective working relationship with Sale Coordinators in order to ensure that customers are satisfied.
• Communicate with Marketing Department regarding monthly and special marketing materials.
• Any other tasks given by immediate supervisor.
