[Hiring] Hemp/CBD Category Sales Representative @Viridian Staffing

Role Description

Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for an experienced Hemp/CBD Category Manager or Retail Sales Account Executive in the St. Louis, Missouri, area to help drive sales for a fast-moving start-up in the Cannabis industry.

You will use your existing CBD / hemp store book of business or your retail channel sales experience, combined with trade / channel marketing experience, to:

• Grow the number of retailers carrying the product in your territory.
• Grow sales volume at existing stores.

You must have experience selling into one of the following:

• Cannabis dispensaries
• Food distributors
• CBD / Hemp stores
• Natural Food/Pet Stores

If you have experience successfully selling CBD based products into grocery, convenience, or drug channels; this experience is preferred.

Your background in channel/trade marketing in addition to your Cannabis sales experience will help to set you up for further success. You're known for:

• Exceptional negotiation skills
• Ability to close sales using proven communication skills
• Ability to build lasting relationships with customers

You'll have the opportunity to utilize your expert level knowledge of the company's brand to elevate the brand's community profile. If you have proven success in driving growth in CBD companies, have an existing book of business/experience selling CBD products into a variety of channels, are great at establishing credibility & rapport with clients, and building professional relationships, then this could be the right role for you.

This position will also require travel and you should have regular access to a reliable vehicle/be close to a major airport. This position is a remote based position and could also be based in the areas around Cincinnati, Ohio; Chicago, Illinois; or Detroit, Michigan.

• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
