Point Global Logistics is looking for an experienced Sales Executive who knows international logistics and enjoys winning new business. In this role, you’ll develop your own pipeline, build relationships with new customers, and turn opportunities into profitable, long-term business. You’ll have access to solutions across air and ocean freight, ground transportation, customs, warehousing and distribution, and project logistics, supported by experienced operations and product teams.

What You’ll Do

• Build and execute a sales plan for your assigned territory.
• Develop new business through prospecting, customer visits, referrals, networking, and industry events.
• Learn customers’ supply chains, trade lanes, shipment volumes, challenges, and business priorities.
• Develop solutions across air and ocean freight, trucking, customs brokerage, warehousing and distribution, and project logistics.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through proposals, negotiation, and closing.
• Build profitable business with a focus on gross profit, service requirements, and long-term customer potential.
• Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast in our CRM.
• Partner with operations to ensure a smooth transition from sale to implementation.
• Grow existing relationships by identifying additional trade lanes, services, and locations.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the U.S., Mexico, and Point Global’s international network.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful sales or business development experience in freight forwarding or related logistics services, or equivalent experience.
• A demonstrated ability to win new customers and achieve revenue or gross profit goals.
• Working knowledge of international air and ocean freight, imports and exports, trade lanes, and freight pricing.
• Strong prospecting, discovery, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Ability to sell value, not simply compete on price.
• Ability to independently manage a territory and priorities while partnering effectively with pricing and operations teams.
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel within your assigned territory.

Requirements

• Experience selling to manufacturers, importers, exporters, distributors, or retailers.
• Strong relationships or market knowledge within your territory.
• Experience with U.S.-Mexico supply chains, customs brokerage, warehousing and distribution, or project logistics.
• English and Spanish proficiency for positions supporting cross-border customers.
• A degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
