[Hiring] Sales Development Representative @AVIAN

Role Description

Your mission is to prevent fires and unplanned downtime that cost industrial companies millions. AVIAN's Swiss-engineered infrared cameras and AI monitoring detect abnormal heat inside industrial facilities at the point of inception.

• Flag fire risk before a fire starts.
• Detect equipment wear before it leads to unplanned shutdowns.

• Prevented thousands of fire events.
• Saved millions of dollars in downtime.

You are joining our founding sales team in the US, reporting to the SVP of Sales. You will be the first voice a prospect hears, and every meeting you book is pipeline for our account executives.

What you'll own:

• The phones: Start conversations with plant managers, maintenance and reliability leaders, safety leaders, and operations buyers.
• Trade shows: Line up meetings at our booth and follow up with attendees.
• Qualification and handoff: Assess pain points and brief the account executive.
• Doors into sister sites: Find contacts at other facilities once one plant is satisfied.
• Your stack: Utilize ZoomInfo, HubSpot, and AI tools for outreach and research.
• The playbook: Document successful strategies and share them with the team.

What success looks like in year one:

• Meetings booked become pipeline, not just calendar filler.
• Account executives trust your qualifications.
• Develop a repeatable method to engage plant managers.
• Document effective strategies for future SDRs.

Requirements

• Experience in SDR, BDR, inside sales, or similar roles.
• Ability to engage and convert cold outreach into pipeline.
