Role Description
As a Sales Development Manager, you will lead sales training and enablement for two US-based teams: Sterilization & Monitoring Specialists (SMS) and Inside Sales, with responsibilities split evenly across both. This role owns new hire training, ongoing development of tenured representatives, and the coordination and execution of all major training events. You will collaborate with partners across Sales, Marketing, National Accounts, Sales Operations, Commercial Enablement, and Clinical to strengthen selling capability and drive consistent execution in the field.
You will make an impact by:

Owning SMS new hire training end to end, including content, delivery, and execution

Owning the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of new hire training for Inside Sales, including SolvIQ, agendas, and Inside Sales specific content

Leading ongoing training for tenured SMS and Inside Sales representatives, including selling skills, product knowledge, portfolio strategy, and program execution

Leading, coordinating, and executing all SMS and Inside Sales training events, including New Hire Training, POA meetings, Kick Off Meetings, Sales Enablement calls, and ad-hoc in-person sessions

Partnering with SMS and Inside Sales leadership to identify capability gaps and align training priorities to business objectives

Partnering with Marketing to prioritize content updates tied to portfolio strategy and field needs, and to deliver reinforcement that drives consistent execution

Collaborating with Clinical and National Accounts partners to ensure training content reflects current strategy, messaging, and evidence

Integrating training into the broader Commercial Enablement strategy, leveraging shared events and established sessions.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND eight (8) years of medical device or healthcare sales

OR High School Diploma/GED AND twelve (12) years of medical device or healthcare sales

Working knowledge of sterilization and monitoring products, workflows, and the sterile processing environment
Requirements

Experience selling sterilization, monitoring, or infection prevention solutions to sterile processing departments and infection prevention stakeholders

Experience designing, facilitating, and delivering sales training or onboarding programs

Strong understanding of selling skills methodology, product knowledge development, and program execution

Ability to collaborate and influence across Sales, Marketing, Operations, National Accounts, and Clinical partners

Experience applying artificial intelligence tools to build, personalize, or scale training content, role plays, coaching, and learner assessment, with sound judgment on responsible and compliant use.
Benefits

Expected compensation range for this position is $125,600 - $172,700, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible
