[Hiring] Sales Account Executive @Porch Group

Role Description

The future is bright for the Porch Group, and we'd love for you to be a part of it as our Account Executive.

As an Account Executive on our Inspections & Real Estate team, you'll sell software that helps home inspectors run and grow their businesses. Your work directly supports small business owners by helping them save time, increase revenue, and simplify operations. This role is a great fit for a motivated salesperson who builds rapport quickly, understands customer needs, and confidently manages opportunities through close.

What You Will Do As An Account Executive

• Make outbound calls to potential customers and follow up on inbound and BDR-generated opportunities
• Understand customer needs, identify sales opportunities, and recommend the right solution for their business
• Host live product demos via screenshare, walking inspectors through workflows and tailoring the conversation to their business
• Explain and demonstrate product features clearly and consultatively
• Develop strong knowledge of our home inspection software platforms, the home inspection industry, and competing solutions
• Upsell additional products and services where appropriate
• Maintain accurate pipeline activity and deal notes in Salesforce, and provide regular updates on deal progress and forecasts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Account Management, Analytics, and Operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of inside sales or Account Executive experience, ideally selling SaaS to SMB customers, with a demonstrated ability to manage opportunities through close
• Native-level spoken and written English proficiency, with the ability to confidently handle fast-paced, unscripted customer conversations
• Strong communication, presentation, discovery, and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable learning multiple software products and quickly adopting new sales tools
• Coachable, curious, and motivated by solving problems for small business owners
• Self-motivated and comfortable working toward measurable sales and revenue goals
• Self-starter who can succeed in a fast-paced, evolving remote work environment
• Proven experience working with US based business teams
• Excellent written and communication skills in English language

Requirements

• This role requires full and ongoing overlap with Porch's U.S. Eastern Time business hours (7:30 PM IST – 3:30 AM IST). A Night Shift Allowance is applicable for this position in line with company policy.
• Workspace: A quiet space to work, an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload

• Pay Range*: 693,800 – 971,300 INR annually
