Role Description

This is a remote position. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Account Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and driving revenue growth through our transportation and logistics services.

We are looking for a proactive sales professional who is confident in prospecting, negotiating, and closing new business, while providing exceptional service to our customers. Experience in transportation, logistics, freight brokerage, or a related industry is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customer accounts through prospecting, cold calling, email outreach, networking, and referrals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Understand customers' transportation and logistics needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Prepare and present pricing, proposals, and service solutions to prospective customers.
• Negotiate rates, contracts, and service agreements while maintaining profitability.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through closing and account development.
• Maintain accurate customer, sales, and pipeline information in our CRM system.
• Follow up consistently with prospects and customers to develop new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with operations, dispatch, and other internal teams to ensure excellent customer service.
• Monitor market conditions, customer needs, and competitor activity.
• Meet or exceed established sales targets, revenue goals, and performance objectives.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and work with internal teams to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Develop existing accounts by identifying opportunities for additional services and increased business volume.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in transportation, logistics, freight brokerage, trucking, or supply chain.
• Proven ability to prospect for new business and close sales.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
• Strong customer-service mindset and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with sales goals, performance metrics, and CRM systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common sales/business software.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing relationships within the transportation, manufacturing, distribution, retail, or supply-chain industries.
• Experience selling freight, transportation, 3PL, brokerage, or related logistics services.
• Established book of business or demonstrated ability to develop one.
