[Hiring] Regional Sales Manager @Q-Free

Role Description

Q-Free is seeking a driven and strategic Regional Sales Manager to expand our direct business across the central United States. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and shaping the future of intelligent transportation systems (ITS).

As a key leader in your region, you’ll shape market strategy, drive revenue growth, and represent a global innovator in smart mobility and advanced traffic management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build strong partnerships and work closely with distributors to drive sales performance and meet revenue targets.
• Drive new business development and manage existing customer relationships.
• Develop deep product knowledge and promote Q-Free solutions to municipal, county, and state transportation agencies as well as consulting firms.
• Identify opportunities to add value for customers and expand our footprint in the region.
• Develop strategies for major pursuits, including preparing and presenting proposals, bids, and quotations.
• Conduct engaging product presentations and demonstrations in collaboration with technical teams.
• Coordinate closely with technical sales, proposals, operations, and technology teams to craft compelling responses to RFPs.
• Represent Q-Free at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
• Maintain accurate daily CRM records, including meeting notes, pipeline updates, and project details.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of higher education and experience.
• 10+ years of business development experience, ideally within ITS or software-driven solutions.
• Proven success in selling ITS, Traffic Signal, and/or ATMS software solutions in the U.S. transportation market.
• Strong understanding of technology trends and product development processes.
• Experience producing and analyzing sales reports, KPIs, and market insights.
• Collaborative, self-motivated, and goal-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
