[Hiring] Regional Sales Manager @WAGNER Group

Role Description

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing the Southeast territory industrial distribution channel. This involves:

• Supporting the sales efforts of distributors.
• Identifying additional distribution opportunities as needed.
• Managing and growing the Wagner Industrial Solutions distribution network in the northeast region.
• Increasing sales through and expanding the product offering at qualified OEM focused distributor outlets.
• Establishing yourself as an ongoing technical resource with the ability to train distributors and end-users.
• Meeting pre-determined sales quotas, including sales targets and distribution growth requirements.
• Identifying and meeting with Engineered System (ENSY) prospects.
• Working with the engineered system (ENSY) sales manager to promote Wagner Engineered Systems products.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Business or related field experience.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial coatings application, equipment sales, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Experience with relative sales channels: distribution and direct.
• Experience in the demonstration of industrial equipment is highly preferred.
• Proven sales growth results.
• Self-starter and highly motivated.
• Knowledge of industrial sales procedures.
• Experience with distribution channel processes.
• Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office).
• Mechanical understanding of coating application equipment is required.

Requirements

• Work is performed in a home office or field setting.
• May require walking or standing to a significant degree or involve sitting most of the time with long periods of computer work and phone usage.
• Some lifting of equipment and tools is required.
• 50%+ travel is required to locations in the Northeast territory.
