Role Description
Peerless-AV is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager (RSM) with extensive Pro AV sales experience to promote and sell Peerless-AV solutions, develop new business, and grow existing customer relationships throughout the assigned region.

Understand Peerless-AV products and identify customer needs.

Develop strong relationships with established accounts and new business opportunities.

Work with dealers, distributors, specifiers, end-users, and other key partners within the territory.

Manage the overall success of the region with a focus on maximizing profitable sales growth.

Expand Peerless-AV's presence in the market and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Territory:
Responsible for Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Saskatchewan, and Yukon.
Residency Requirement:
Candidates must currently reside in California or Washington to be considered for this position.
Qualifications

Bachelorβs Degree (preferred)

At least 5 years in outside sales or related position.

Requirements

Effectively service existing accounts and establish new accounts by smart planning and organizing of daily work schedule.

Meet sales objectives of the region.

Manage annual expense budget effectively, finishing below budget, as directed.

Demonstrate continual success pursuing and securing new accounts.

Keep management informed of all worthy sales contacts by submitting call information each week in Sales and Marketing system.

Monitor competition and gather current marketplace information.

Educate dealer/distributor personnel on our products and how to sell them.

Prepare a resourceful annual region sales plan and effectively execute it.

Recommend changes to products, services, and policies based on in-field feedback and observations.

Resolve customer issues by investigating problems and developing solutions.

Assist in marketing research activity as requested by management.

Support other Peerless AV sales people and associates while in the field.
-
Use proper company forms and procedures for all administrative functions.

Treat customers, end-users, and Peerless-AV associates with dignity, respect, and good communication.

Manage extensive travel (50%) efficiently.

Provide strategic counsel to the Director National Accounts, Managing Director, Commercial Sales and VP Sales & Marketing North America & APAC.
