Role Description

Consider joining the Pennex family as a Regional Sales Manager supporting our Wellsville, PA location. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for all sales activity in the assigned territory to meet or exceed revenue and margin forecasts. This position is responsible for working with the OEMs, end users and distributors to develop long term, profitable business with targeted accounts. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for identifying technical, product, and service support requirements necessary to delight the customer and grow the business.

This is a remote position but must reside in the sales territory of the SouthEast to support the territory of Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee.

• Maintains and expands current customer base by providing outstanding customer service and support.
• Grows customer base by actively prospecting, identifying and closing new customers within the territory.
• Responsible for the Region’s forecasting and sales tracking activities.
• Achieve annual sales forecasts, goals and objectives by implementing a territory sales plan.
• Assist in meeting and exceeding established Pennex MAPs and KRAs.
• Work efficiently and effectively with production, quality, technical and customer sales support teams.
• Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information.
• Attend trade shows relevant to customer markets that occur in the region.
• Conduct sales activities in a manner consistent with the Company’s defined market strategy and values.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 3 or more years of outside sales experience in an extrusion or similar manufacturing environment.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints or CAD drawings.
• Must be familiar with basic metal fabrication techniques and processes.
• Thorough understanding of the extrusion process and capabilities.

• Travel is required within the assigned territory; overnight travel may exceed 50%.
• Basic computer skills.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorships are not available.
