Role Description
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth throughout Post's Central Region by executing strategic sales initiatives across Foodservice distribution, non-commercial operators, regional chain accounts, and broker partners.

Drive Sales Growth

Deliver annual sales objectives for volume, net sales, and operating profit across assigned accounts and territories.

Create, manage, and execute a robust sales pipeline aligned to business growth goals.

Identify and convert new business opportunities throughout the region.

Develop Strategic Customer Relationships

Build strong relationships with key decision-makers across non-commercial Foodservice segments.

Establish top-to-top relationships with regional operators, local national accounts, distributors, and key influencers.

Develop and execute strategic growth plans for assigned customers and distributors.

Lead Broker Network Performance

Manage and develop broker partners throughout the region.

Execute annual and quarterly sales priorities through broker teams.

Provide coaching, accountability, and market direction to maximize results.

Expand Market Presence

Lead targeted sales campaigns supporting key business initiatives.

Drive distribution gains and customer adoption of new products and innovations.

Accelerate speed-to-market execution for new product launches.

Analyze and Execute

Utilize business analytics and market insights to identify opportunities and solve challenges.

Develop strategic business plans that support sustainable growth.

Collaborate with demand planning teams on volume forecasts tied to new and lost business.

Collaborate Across the Organization

Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Finance, Supply Chain, Category Management, and Sales leadership.

Share best practices and success stories across regional and national teams.

Represent Post at industry events, distributor meetings, and national conferences.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum 5 years of Foodservice sales and business management experience.

Experience managing Foodservice broker organizations.

Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
-
Established Foodservice relationships within the Central Region.

Experience developing and executing strategic territory and account plans.
-
Ability to travel extensively throughout the region.
Requirements

Experience working with major Foodservice distributors such as Sysco, US Foods, Gordon Food Service, Performance Food Group, and key regional distributors.

Experience managing regional chain accounts and local national accounts.
