Role Description
We are hiring a professional (based in the United States) to join our vibrant and growing Sales organization as a Pre-Sales Consultant, supporting our Partner division. This role is well suited to someone early in their career β ideally with prior experience inside a financial institution or SaaS company β who's ready to run discovery calls and demos, and grow into a broader pre-sales technical role. You'll work closely with sales, professional services, product management, and engineering teams to support the growth of our partner business, with senior Pre-Sales Consultants available for guidance on more complex or strategic opportunities.

Support sales opportunities to partner prospects and customers, delivering demos and addressing product and technical questions and requirements.

Build relationships with partner teams and develop credibility as a knowledgeable resource on fraud and financial crime risk solutions.

Lead discovery calls with new partners, creating the required documentation, capturing partner needs, timelines, and dependencies alongside the Sales Executive.

Support solution documentation in partnership with the solution architect, escalating complex design questions to senior team members as needed.

Help partners and end customers understand how BioCatch fits into their decision-making process.

Scope technical solutions and draft project plans and timelines for new partners, with senior support available where required.

Coordinate with professional services, delivery, and engineering teams to validate technical and commercial feasibility of proposed solutions.

Help secure technical commitments to keep opportunities on track toward the technical win.

Where required, support any Proof of Concept execution for new partners, tracking progress against defined success criteria.

Contribute to business case materials.

Own sections of RFI/RFP responses, with review and support from senior colleagues.

Support responses to customer InfoSec security questionnaires, working with the BioCatch technical team.

Help deliver training/upskilling sessions for partner resources as needed.

Stay current on emerging fraud and financial crime MOs, industry trends, and regulations.

Contribute to competitor intelligence gathering.
Qualifications

English (Fluent)

Recent graduate or Early-career professional with prior experience at a financial institution, fintech, or SaaS company β internship, rotational program, analyst role, or similar customer-facing experience all considered.

Some direct customer-facing experience (presales, client service, relationship management, support, or similar).

Exposure to coding or technical projects (coursework, bootcamp, personal projects, or on-the-job) β you don't need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable around technical information and willing to go deeper.

Comfortable running discovery conversations and delivering demos, or a clear aptitude and eagerness to build that skill quickly.

Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Good listening, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to ask the right probing questions to uncover a customer's actual need.

Ownership mindset β comfortable driving your assigned opportunities forward, with senior support available when needed.

Willingness to learn and apply sales methodologies like MEDDPICC.

Foundational understanding of the fraud prevention, AML, or financial crime landscape gained through prior work experience.

Good technical awareness that supports sales conversations β familiarity with at least some of the following: cloud computing (Azure, AWS), data types (CSV, XML, JSON), APIs, and databases.

General understanding of security frameworks is a plus.
