Role Description
The Inside Sales Consultant or sales person role sells solar energy products or services to consumers. Their priority is to make a genuine human connection with potential customers with the intent to qualify and vet solar as a viable energy solution for their home and families. Their main duties include:

Handling inbound pre-qualified transfer leads through a dialer.

Exploring pricing, sale terms, and providing custom solar proposals.

Driving solar projects from point of sale to installation.

Using Sunrun's core values to drive meaningful impact with customers.
Responsibilities/The Impact

Use skills in communication and sales to highlight the advantages of our products and services.

Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty.

Follow-up with receptive transfer leads to further sales.

Understand and demonstrate the product or service to the customer through screen shares.

Guide customers electronically through the enrollment process.

Prioritize tasks and responsibilities to deliver an outstanding customer experience and achieve monthly sales targets.

Run and track customer account progress in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
Qualifications

The ability to communicate fluently in English is an essential function of this role. Fluency in another language besides English is a plus.

Basic digital literacy; bonus points for experience using Salesforce.com or a similar CRM.

Previous sales experience is encouraged.

Demonstrated passion for relationship building, customer service, and continuous self-improvement.

Excel in a remote team setting, working effectively in an ever-evolving environment.

Average compensation in California (Base pay + Incentives) for the first 12 months ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 (personal success dependent).
