[Hiring] New Business Sales Representative @IPinfo

Role Description

We are looking for a U.S.-based New Business Sales Representative with the following capabilities:

• Consultative Discovery & Business Understanding:
  • Working closely with prospects to understand their business, operating environment and priorities.
  • Identifying the challenges they want to overcome — and why those challenges matter.
  • Translating complex customer needs into compelling value aligned with IPinfo’s data products.
• Identifying Additional Challenges & Expanding Value:
  • Proactively uncover additional or adjacent problems IPinfo can solve — ideally ones where IPinfo is uniquely positioned to provide value.
• Ability to Drive Urgency & Deals to a Close:
  • Create and maintain momentum throughout the sales cycle.
  • Be prepared to discuss their approach to creating urgency during the interview, including real examples of how they’ve successfully done this in past roles.
  • Experience using the MEDPICC sales methodology to qualify, progress and close opportunities.
• Proven New Business Hunter:
  • Independently identifying and targeting new accounts.
  • Owning full-cycle new business deals from first conversation to close.
  • Consistently achieving at least 30% of quota through self-generated pipeline, with the drive to exceed expectations.
• Thrives in a Fully Remote Company:
  • Work autonomously with high accountability.
  • Manage priorities and pipeline independently.
  • Travel within the U.S and internationally for customer meetings, conferences, and team gatherings.
• Contributes to Sales Best Practices:
  • Share practical experience selling IPinfo data and actively contribute to elevating sales best practices.
  • Provide actionable insights from the field to help refine and strengthen our GTM strategy.
  • Strengthen overall sales excellence across the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in consultative sales.
• Strong understanding of sales methodologies, particularly MEDPICC.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
