[Hiring] National Account Manager @Stanley Black & Decker, Inc.

Role Description

As a National Account Manager, you’ll be part of our commercial team working as a remote employee. You’ll get to:

• Lead sales, marketing, and channel strategy for assigned national accounts within the construction and industrial channels.
• Own the full sales cycle, including product presentations, execution, forecasting, POS reviews, promotional planning, and business analysis.
• Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with key decision-makers across assigned accounts.
• Drive sales growth and achieve performance targets through effective account planning, execution, and regular business reviews.
• Lead new product commercialization efforts, including item recommendations, product listings, launch execution, and promotional rollout plans.
• Manage annual business planning activities, including operating plan development, scorecard analysis, and promotional budget ownership.
• Support customer agreement discussions and other account growth initiatives that strengthen long-term business partnerships.
• Partner closely with field sales teams and cross-functional stakeholders to align national strategy with regional and local market needs.
• Support training, event marketing, and customer education initiatives through seminars, field programs, promotions, and sales enablement materials.
• Monitor competitive activity and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and other internal teams to grow market share and improve channel position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• 8+ years of sales or marketing experience in the Construction and Industrial channels.
• Prior sales management and key account experience, with a proven ability to drive sales growth and build strategic customer relationships.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, organization, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel (40% travel required).
