[Hiring] Inbound Sales Development Representative @Puzzle Financial Inc

Role Description

As an Inbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Puzzle Financial Inc., you will be the first point of contact for founders and operators who express interest in our platform. Your role will involve:

• Responding quickly to demo requests, signups, and chat conversations during business hours.
• Working every inbound lead to a clear outcome: booked, nurtured, routed to self-serve, or disqualified.
• Ensuring proper follow-up on existing leads to prevent any from falling through the cracks.
• Conducting short discovery calls to understand each lead's needs and readiness for Puzzle.
• Booking qualified meetings with Account Executives and confirming them to reduce no-shows.
• Keeping HubSpot clean and current, and sharing insights with Marketing and Product teams.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in an SDR, BDR, or other customer-facing sales role, ideally in B2B SaaS.
• Fast, organized, and responsive; treat new leads with urgency.
• Curious in discovery; ask good questions and listen before pitching.
• Clear and honest about Puzzle's offerings.
• Comfortable communicating with founders and finance-minded buyers.
• Coachable and metrics-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Proactive self-starter who identifies gaps in processes and suggests improvements.

Requirements

• Experience selling to startups or small businesses (nice-to-have).
• Familiarity with accounting concepts or tools (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) (nice-to-have).
• Experience at a fintech, financial SaaS, or accounting technology company (nice-to-have).
• Familiarity with HubSpot, Intercom, and/or Gong/Fireflies (nice-to-have).
