Role Description

You're Already a Loan Officer. You Don't Need Us to Explain the Job. You know how to build relationships, generate business, structure loans, and get clients to the closing table. What you need is a mortgage company that gives you the tools and support to do more of it — without taking away your independence, creating internal competition, or nickel-and-diming you or your borrowers with fees.

At Southern Mortgage Solutions, we're looking for experienced, self-generating Mortgage Loan Originators who want to build their own book of business with the support of an established mortgage brokerage behind them.

Whether you're already in the broker channel or you're an experienced retail Loan Officer interested in making the transition, we're looking for people who know how to build relationships, generate business, and want the right platform to grow.

Qualifications

• Active NMLS number and prior mortgage origination experience
• Active MLO license in a state where Southern Mortgage Solutions operates, or ability to obtain appropriate licensure
• Relationship-driven and comfortable developing referral partners
• Motivated to generate and grow your own production
• Strong mortgage knowledge and ability to structure loan scenarios
• Excellent communication with clients and referral partners
• Self-sufficient and able to thrive in a 100% remote environment

Requirements
