[Hiring] International Sales Consultant @Hansgrohe

Role Description

As an International Sales Consultant based in Panama City, Panama, you will represent Hansgrohe, a globally recognized German brand known for award-winning design, premium products, and a strong commitment to sustainability. Your primary sales territory will be Jamaica and other Caribbean markets, focusing on:

• Driving sales growth and market development across multiple channels.
• Building and strengthening relationships with distributors, architects, interior designers, developers, contractors, and other key industry partners.
• Identifying new business opportunities and supporting the continued growth of the brand across the territory.

The ideal consultant will be an experienced sales and specification professional who understands how to develop markets, build long-term commercial relationships, and translate customer and project needs into Hansgrohe solutions. You will work independently from Panama while collaborating closely with regional and international Sales and Marketing teams.

You will be responsible for:

• Developing and executing expansion strategies within the Trade channel.
• Managing key partnerships.
• Analyzing market trends and opportunities.
• Implementing promotional and business-development activities that maximize sales performance across Jamaica and the broader Caribbean region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of successful sales, key account management, or specification experience within the construction industry, interior design, architectural products, luxury building materials, or premium finish products.
• Experience working with architects, designers, contractors, developers, or distributors is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of—or willingness to learn—plumbing systems, construction practices, and applicable building regulations within Jamaica and the broader Caribbean region.
• Experience or education related to sustainable construction or green building certifications is considered an asset.
• Proven ability to establish, develop, and maintain long-term business relationships with key decision-makers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation abilities.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and communicate technical product solutions effectively.
• English fluency is required; additional language skills are considered an asset.
• Highly self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently while effectively managing priorities and workload.
• Ability to travel approximately one week per month, or as business needs require, throughout Jamaica and other Caribbean markets.
• Ability to travel internationally within the Caribbean region as required.

• Support local marketing initiatives, customer events, product launches, and promotional campaigns that strengthen brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of Hansgrohe products, applications, specifications, and technical capabilities.
• Communicate information clearly, professionally, and confidently with customers, colleagues, and business partners.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Product Management, and Global Headquarters.
