Role Description
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will drive revenue growth and maximize profitability by identifying, qualifying, and closing sales within your assigned territory. Working in close alignment with Field Sales Representatives, you will remotely manage customer relationships, deliver compelling product value, and solve customer challenges using sound judgment and initiative. In this role, you will combine consultative selling skills with strong technical and market knowledge to articulate the unique value of Roche products. You will also serve as a steward of quality and compliance, ensuring all activities meet Roche Quality System standards and Good Promotional Practices.
The Opportunity

Sales Execution & Territory Strategy:

Engage assigned accounts via phone, email, and virtual platforms to drive new business, grow existing accounts, and achieve sales targets.

Partner with Field Sales Representative(s) to develop and execute targeted account strategies across the designated territory.

Deliver differentiated product messaging that highlights key features, competitive advantages, and quantifiable economic value for customers.

Address customer objections, negotiate terms, and close sales opportunities effectively.

Account Management & Customer Support:

Build and sustain strong customer relationships by serving as a responsive, trusted primary remote contact.

Coordinate ongoing account support, manage distribution partner relationships, and implement sales programs tailored to customer needs.

Proactively troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, leveraging internal resources and cross-functional teams when necessary.

Data Integrity & Quality Compliance:

Maintain complete, accurate, and timely customer and pipeline data within the CRM (Salesforce).

Capture customer feedback and complaints promptly, processing them through the Roche Quality System and CAPA framework.

Adhere strictly to Good Promotional Practices (GPP) and corporate compliance standards across all daily interactions.
Qualifications

Bachelorβs Degree or equivalent experience.

Entry level sales or equivalent experience.

Proven track record in inside sales, business development, or account support, preferably within diagnostics, healthcare, or life sciences.

Strong consultative selling skills, objection handling, negotiation, and account planning abilities.

Exceptional verbal, written, and virtual presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport remotely.

High attention to detail regarding CRM data entry (Salesforce) and adherence to regulated quality/compliance guidelines.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is 47,300.00 - 87,900.00 USD Annual.

Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
