[Hiring] Hotel Sales Manager @Chicago Marriott Northwest

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Hotel Sales Manager / Director of Sales (DOS) to join our hospitality team. This is a remote position based in India, supporting sales and business development for our U.S. hotel properties. The ideal candidate will have strong hotel sales experience and a proven ability to generate new business, develop corporate accounts, build client relationships, and increase hotel revenue.

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve hotel revenue and occupancy goals.
• Generate new business through corporate accounts, group bookings, travel agencies, local businesses, and other market segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and key accounts.
• Conduct sales calls, email campaigns, presentations, and client follow-ups.
• Identify new business opportunities and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Manage and grow existing accounts while developing new accounts.
• Promote hotel rooms, group accommodations, meeting spaces, and hotel services.
• Develop corporate and group rate agreements.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
• Work closely with General Managers, Revenue Management, Front Office, and Operations teams.
• Track sales leads, accounts, room nights, and revenue production.
• Prepare regular sales reports and provide updates to management.
• Participate in virtual sales meetings, networking events, and client presentations.
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of hotel sales or hospitality sales experience preferred.
• Experience working with U.S. hotels or international hospitality markets is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of corporate, group, leisure, and local hotel sales.
• Proven ability to generate new business and achieve sales targets.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, email, and sales tools.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work U.S. business hours.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.

Requirements

• Candidates with experience as a Director of Sales, Assistant Director of Sales, Hotel Sales Manager, Corporate Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, or Group Sales Manager are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, or other major hotel brands is a plus.
