Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Freight Sales Executive who brings an active book of shipper relationships and a proven ability to grow freight revenue. This role is ideal for a logistics sales professional who thrives in a performance-driven environment and enjoys building long-term shipper partnerships while selling complex transportation solutions. With strong operational support behind the scenes, you’ll be able to focus on selling, relationship-building, and expanding your book of business.

Key Responsibilities

• Account Management
  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of shipper accounts
  • Maintain strong long-term client relationships
  • Identify opportunities to expand transportation services within accounts
• Business Development
  • Prospect and secure new shipper accounts
  • Develop long-term freight partnerships and contracts
  • Expand revenue through strategic account growth
• Specialized Freight Sales
  • Sell complex transportation solutions including:
  • Flatbed / Open Deck
  • Step Deck
  • Double Drop
  • Over-Dimensional (OD) Freight
  • Multi-Axle / Heavy Haul
• Collaboration
  • Work closely with operations and dispatch teams to ensure successful load execution
  • Communicate customer requirements and service expectations clearly
• Pipeline Management
  • Track pipeline activity and revenue growth
  • Maintain accurate reporting within CRM systems

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of freight brokerage or logistics sales experience
• Active, transferable book of shipper business
• Experience selling specialized or open-deck freight services

Core Skills

• Strong negotiation and pricing strategy skills
• Excellent relationship-building and client management ability
• Proven track record of revenue growth in freight sales
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fully remote environment

Technical Skills

• CRM systems
• Transportation management systems (TMS)
• Standard sales tools and reporting platforms
