Role Description
This position is a Remote position. Reporting to the VP Sales-LMR for the Communications Sector of JVCKENWOOD USA Corporation, the LMR Regional Sales Manager plans, directs, trains, and coordinates manufacturerโs representatives and organizations engaged in the sale and promotion of Company products within a specified region.

Develops and coordinates the implementation of regional sales promotion, advertising, training, and merchandising programs.

Gathers information on regional competitive activity and overall market conditions for Land Mobile and Kenwood Systems, Inc.
Essential Duties:

Plans, directs, trains and coordinates manufacturers representative organizations engaged in the sale and promotion of designated Company products within an assigned region.

Conducts on-site visits of dealer organizations to determine competitive activity, review sales status, resolve problems, and ensure marketing goals are achieved.

Consults with other JKUSA Departments such as R & D, Service, and Credit to resolve problems and coordinate efforts.

Oversees the sales efforts of the manufacturer representatives for the region.

Develops and coordinates advertising, sales training, and sales promotional activity within the region.

Projects future business activity and participates in the development of the marketing plan for the assigned product group.

Prepares sales reports and analyzes variations in sales forecasts and actual sales.

Plans and conducts periodic sales meetings to educate, train, and stimulate sales production.

Develops, implements, and manages the budget for the territory.

Travel โ up to 50%.
Qualifications
-
College degree or directly related, equivalent experience.

Five yearsโ experience in the Land Mobile Radio Industry.

In-depth knowledge of dealer sales management techniques including merchandising, selling strategies, inventory management, and advertising.

Knowledge of the assigned product group and the dynamics of the regional environment.

Highly developed written and verbal sales skills.

Ability to organize and implement sales programs within a specified region.
Requirements

Daily interaction with Company departments such as Administration, Finance, Warehouse, R & D, and Service.

Coordinates with manufacturer representatives, after market vendors, dealers, and advertising agencies.

Deals with product availability problems and finds creative solutions.

Interfaces with R & D and Service to resolve technical problems.
