[Hiring] Catering & Events Sales Coordinator @Scale Army Careers

Role Description

This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.

The Catering & Events Sales Coordinator will support catering and event sales through:

• Outbound prospecting
• Inbound customer support
• Event coordination
• Order management

This is a customer-facing role responsible for:

• Reaching out to potential catering and event customers
• Responding to inbound inquiries
• Understanding customer needs
• Following up on opportunities
• Accurately processing customer orders

The ideal candidate has:

• 3+ years of experience in sales, customer service, account coordination, or a similar role
• Experience in food & beverage, catering, events, restaurants, or hospitality strongly preferred

Location: Fully Remote | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in sales, customer service, account coordination, or a similar role
• Experience in DTC food & beverage, catering, events, restaurants, or hospitality is strongly preferred
• Experience with catering or event sales is a strong plus
• Experience using a POS system is preferred

Requirements

• Ability to confidently manage inbound and outbound customer calls
• Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with prospective customers and understand their needs
• Ability to recommend appropriate catering solutions based on customer requirements
• Ability to learn and use POS systems and other business tools
• Strong organizational and data-entry skills
• Ability to maintain accurate customer, prospect, and order information
• Strong attention to detail when handling customer orders and event information
• Ability to stay organized and maintain consistent follow-up in a fast-paced food & beverage environment
