[Hiring] Business Development Representative @Respond.io

Role Description

You'll join our APAC Sales team as a Business Development Representative, often the first person a prospect speaks to at respond.io. You'll work the leads assigned to you in our CRM, qualify them using the CHAMP framework, learn what their business is trying to achieve, and work out whether we're a real fit. When we are, you'll book a meeting with one of our Account Executives, who takes the deal from there. Expect a fast-paced, high-volume day of calls, emails and WhatsApp outreach. We're also building outbound in APAC, so experience generating your own pipeline counts. Responsibilities

• Qualifying CRM leads with the CHAMP framework and booking meetings for Account Executives.
• Collaborating closely with Sales Executives to drive pipeline growth across APAC regions.
• Creating personalized outreach to multiple stakeholders, including decision-makers and influencers, for key prospects & customer accounts.
• Providing a world-class prospect and customer experience through every interaction, ensuring that they feel understood and valued.
• Becoming a product expert and learning to articulate the value of respond.io's solutions to potential clients effectively.
• Keeping meticulous records of interactions with leads in our CRM, including progress made, follow-up activities, and next steps.
• Helping to build scalable demand generation campaigns based on data-driven insights and industry best practices.
• Identifying and proposing improvements to optimize results.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in online or inside sales, preferably in B2B SaaS.
• Articulate English with a clear and concise spoken and written communication style is essential.
• Fluency in Chinese is strongly preferred, ideally both Mandarin and Cantonese.
• Comfortable with high-volume daily outreach across calls, email and WhatsApp.
• Commitment; a strong desire to pursue a career in sales.
• Consistent track record of overachieving.
• Empathetic listener and persuasive communicator.
• Competitive, resilient, and highly motivated.
• A great attitude and love for teamwork.
• Experience generating your own pipeline through outbound prospecting is a plus.
• Familiarity with lead qualification frameworks, such as CHAMP, is a plus.
• While not mandatory, proficiency in other APAC languages, such as Thai, Korean, Japanese or Vietnamese, is a plus.
