Role Description
You'll own new business sales from first conversation to signed contract. This is a consultative, multi-stakeholder sale, not a high-volume dialing role. You'll report directly to the founder, work closely with a Solutions Engineer, and have meaningful input into how we position, sell, and improve the product.
What You Will Own
-
Full-cycle sales.
-
Qualify, discover, demonstrate, propose, negotiate, and close complex opportunities.
-
Thoughtful discovery.
-
Understand how prospects run membership, education, events, and financial workflows, then connect their needs to a credible solution.
-
Tailored demos.
-
Partner with a Solutions Engineer to demonstrate the workflows that matter to each buying team.
-
Multi-threaded deals.
-
Build relationships with executives, department leaders, finance, IT advisors, and boards.
-
Navigate RFPs and formal evaluations when needed.
-
Commercial ownership.
-
Build proposals, manage pricing conversations, negotiate terms, and maintain a realistic forecast.
-
Strong handoffs.
-
Document promises, requirements, and context so the implementation team can deliver successfully.
-
CRM discipline and feedback.
-
Keep HubSpot current with real next steps, stakeholders, close dates, and competitive insights. Help us learn from every win and loss.
What a Typical Deal Looks Like
Annual software value typically ranges from $15,000 to $80,000, with implementation projects often ranging from $15,000 to $40,000. Sales cycles generally last 3 to 8 months and involve multiple decision-makers. You may manage 25 to 30 active opportunities at once. Buyers often include executive directors, CEOs, membership and education leaders, finance teams, and board members.
Qualifications
-
At least 5 years selling B2B software or SaaS, including direct responsibility for closing deals and carrying a quota.
-
Experience with sales cycles of 3 months or longer, where meaningful discovery, follow-up, and consensus-building are required.
-
Proven multi-stakeholder or enterprise-style selling, including presentations to buying committees and executive decision-makers, not just individual buyers.
-
A track record of quota attainment and examples of complex deals you have personally advanced and closed.
-
Confident discovery, negotiation, and pipeline management, with reliable CRM habits and strong written communication.
-
Georgia residency. This position is open to candidates currently based in Georgia.
Helpful, But Not Required
-
Experience with associations, professional societies, nonprofits, or member-based organizations.
-
Familiarity with AMS, LMS, event technology, fundraising, or related software.
-
Experience with formal RFPs, data migrations, integrations, and implementation-dependent sales.
Benefits
-
Real ownership, direct access to leadership, and a product with meaningful impact.
-
Join a small, experienced team where your work is visible and your feedback can influence our roadmap and go-to-market approach.
-
We value honest forecasting, curiosity, strong execution, and results over activity for its own sake.
How We Work
-
HubSpot for CRM; Zoom for demos; Fellow for meeting notes; Guru for internal knowledge; and Google Workspace for collaboration.
-
You will work with a Solutions Engineer on demos and our professional services team on customer handoffs.
