While the role can be managed remotely, the candidate should be based near Austin, TX.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Build and nurture executive-level relationships with a strategic data center customer
• Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive account strategy
• Drive growth by aligning customer needs with Hitachi Energy’s innovative solutions
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across five business units
• Act as the central point of contact for all customer interactions and escalations
• Represent customer interests internally while supporting business unit goals
• Mentor and guide internal teams to ensure alignment and success
• Lead strategic negotiations and manage complex projects
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in sales / account management
• 5+ years within the energy / power sector, selling similar solutions to Hitachi Energy
• Ideally 5+ years working with data center clients, ideally hyperscalers
• Proven success in matrixed, cross-functional environments
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
• 30% travel
• Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
