Role Description
This role is primarily responsible for supporting sales activities across the US West Region with additional support provided to the broader United States. The Sr. Solution Engineer (Pre-Sales, SAP) articulates Rimini’s solution portfolio and value proposition to clients and prospects serving as trusted advisors while providing deep SAP product-specific functional and technical expertise to drive sales.
- Directly engage in SAP sales opportunities
- Actively participate in customer meetings
- Work closely with Senior Account Executives to respond to customers’ business needs and challenges
- Act as the primary conduit to the internal Delivery and Strategic Services teams
- Leverage existing technical and functional knowledge in working with all SAP products
- Articulate the strategy and direction for all SAP products supported by Rimini Street
Qualifications
- Significant experience in a Pre-Sales Engineering Role or Pre-Sales Solution Engineer role within the SAP Applications ecosystem
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Experience in a “consultative selling” environment
- Extensive experience in solutioning SAP ECC/Business Suite, SAP S/4 HANA support and managed services
- Extensive experience in solutioning SAP HANA DB, SAP ASE (Sybase) Database and SAP Business Objects support and managed services
- Extensive experience in solutioning SAP with RISE, SAP S/4HANA Cloud and other SAP Cloud Products
- Experience in creating proposals for Managed Services and estimating staffing and costs is a plus
- Experience with SAP Security and related industry security standards such as PCI, NERC, CIP is a plus
- Experience with Service NOW is a plus
Requirements
- Travel approximately 50% of the time to support sales deals in their territory
- Some travel outside your geography in support of global initiatives
