Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Director of Business Development to help us meet and exceed our aggressive growth targets.

  • Manage and evolve a territory sales plan, including key targets and stakeholders.
  • Perform outreach to tier 1 prospects and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales reps from our Alliance partners, building strong relationships to devise winning strategies.
  • Qualify new opportunities along with the sales support team.
  • Lead internal pitch team on proposal development and pitch presentations.
  • Work closely with our Client Partners to close deals and negotiate business terms.
  • Build awareness and generate leads by attending networking events.
  • Support BD marketing & events strategy to optimize lead generation.
  • Follow up on Apply Digital marketing campaigns and inbound leads.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in acquiring new clients for a digital agency, digital product studio, management consulting, or e-commerce agency.
  • Extensive network and expertise in selling/consulting in the area.
  • A proven hunter and networker with a track record of consistently meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Prior experience closing 1M+ services contracts in the following industries: Healthcare, B2B, Consumer Goods, Retail, Media/Entertainment, Gaming.
  • A strategic relationship builder and great listener who can quickly develop trust and build rapport.
  • Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and an adept negotiator.
  • Solid interpersonal skills – you’re comfortable working alongside technical directors, salespeople, designers, and CEOs alike.
  • A natural storyteller with the ability to take clients on a journey.

Requirements

  • Hybrid/remote friendly; preferred candidate should be based in Canada, working in hours that align to ET (Eastern Timezone) or PT (Pacific Timezone).
