Role Description
TetraScience is hiring an elite engagement leader for key accounts in North America. The Engagement Director role concurrently drives activities for renewal numbers and drives overall success of implementation delivery and value realization.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Pre-sales TAMs to identify and land expansion opportunities.
- Deliver scientific and operational value while expanding within the customer base.
- Navigate customer hierarchy within the high-inertia Life Sciences industry.
- Embodies the principles of extreme ownership and leads high-performing delivery or engagement teams.
- Manage critical activities of delivery teams and deliver complex data solutions in challenging scenarios.
- Communicate effectively and tell compelling stories in difficult situations.
- Forge a category that will fundamentally change the life sciences industry.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in delivery leadership roles within the Life Sciences software and data market with expertise in at least two of the following three areas: Discovery/Early-Stage Development, Late-Stage Development/CMC, Manufacturing/QC.
- 3+ years in management consulting.
- Experience in startup environments.
- Led teams to successfully deploy solutions in the top 250 bio/pharma cohort.
- Delivered complex enterprise deals - $ hundreds of thousands to millions in ARR per deal.
- Expanded customer land deals - $ hundreds of thousands to millions in ACV.
- Strong program leadership skills while navigating difficult periods with delivery teams.
- Delivered solutions within GxP-compliant areas.
- Coached and mentored Engagement, Project, Program and/or Customer Success Managers.
- Operated effectively in a fast-paced, team environment.
Requirements
- Execute a comprehensive delivery motion to drive faster time-to-value with high customer satisfaction and meet annual renewal targets.
- Lead key account delivery teams consisting of project managers, scientific data architects, scientific business analysts, and data engineers.
- Leverage and coordinate cross-functional teams for complex implementations and product deployments.
- Collaborate with Sales leadership and Account Executives to pursue new business opportunities.
- Gain a deep understanding of TetraScience’s Product to effectively communicate with customer teams.
- Work closely with product teams to bring customer enhancement requests to fruition.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to create and execute account-specific plans.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with existing customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Manage renewal forecasts and account health, providing regular updates to leadership.
- Lead by example and inspire delivery teams.
- Employ analytical and EQ skills to generate insights from customers’ data strategies.
