Role Description

The purpose of the Account Executive at Knit is to bring on net new partnerships. At its core, this role exists to ensure Knit is growing its client base by building strong relationships with new potential clients.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Customer Success
  • Ensure Knit’s products align with Client’s needs
  • Drive the lead from prospect to close
  • Post-contracting, collaborate with Account Management, Customer Success, and Product
  • Share insights on customer value and potential churn

Key performance indicators for this team:

  • Generate net new revenue
  • Revenue brought in by Net New Logo acquisition

Primary responsibilities of this role:

  • Achieve revenue growth targets by selling Knit’s products and services to enterprise companies
  • Generate new sales introductions through consistent and tailored outbound outreach
  • Collaborate with Marketing team on inbound requests
  • Manage and drive a strong, detail-oriented sales process from prospecting to close
  • Build strong relationships with potential clients
  • Ensure a smooth transition of the relationship from net new business to existing partnerships
  • Continuously try new things and think proactively about ways to bring on new clients

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the research and insights industry
  • Experience autonomously owning and leading customer relationships
  • Supported customers at Enterprise, Fortune 1000 companies, with Insights titles
  • Consistent track record of hitting net new sales targets
  • Experience selling $100,000+ annual contracts to clients at Fortune 1000 companies
  • Extremely organized with aggressive attention to detail
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment with customer success, client services, marketing, and product teams
  • Sales approach with heavy lean towards discovery
