Role Description
This role involves managing and developing Choice’s sales organization as the Director, Corporate Market Sales.
- Directly manage a team of market-deployed Corporate Market Sales Managers.
- Conduct thorough research, in-market sales efforts, and ongoing prospecting for assigned properties.
- Lead a team to uncover and secure opportunities in collaboration with property teams and management companies.
- Mentor and coach the selling team to identify and leverage room night acquisition.
- Deliver measurable revenue results through a structured sales process.
- Promote adoption of research and insights-targeted selling approaches.
- Facilitate achievement of sales production, pipeline, and budgetary objectives.
- Contribute to the acquisition of new accounts and support properties in need of strategic support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
- 5+ years of sales management experience required.
- Hospitality experience preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and broad business acumen.
- Exceptional leadership skills.
- Ability to evaluate business trends and develop successful solutions.
- Strong consultative skills and the ability to achieve corporate business objectives.
- Salesforce.com and/or CRM productivity systems experience highly desired.
Requirements
- Ability to create a compelling vision and motivate others.
- Ability to lead and direct multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be willing to travel throughout the U.S. regularly.
