Role Description
This role involves growing business through effective and ongoing prospecting for local and national opportunities as a Corporate Business Development Representative in Global Sales.
- Identify and secure new accounts with national potential.
- Work to uncover opportunities within the assigned regions/verticals.
- Conduct in-depth market research to uncover new business opportunities for assigned new openings/conversions.
- Communicate potential leads, progress, and actionable next steps to internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and participate in sales missions that uncover potential in a specific area or vertical segment.
- Take on varied assignments focused on generating new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
- Evaluate identified leads and collaborate with relevant account owners or properties for potential development.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or 3+ years of relevant experience.
- B2B direct sales experience.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Go-Getter and Self-Starter.
- Strong internal and external communication abilities and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Director, Corporate Global Sales Development.
- You will have multiple peer teammates and collaborate with cross-functional departments regularly.
Work Location
- Remote-based associate, working from your home office.
- Connect virtually with Choice team members and leadership on video via Zoom.
- Possible periodic travel in-person to offices in North Bethesda, MD, Scottsdale, AZ, or St. Louis Park, MN.
- Frequent nationwide travel will be required 50% of the time.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $78,240 annually plus commission via participation in Choice’s Global Sales Incentive Plan.
