Role Description
This role involves overseeing a team of sales representatives and working closely with leadership to implement sales strategies, manage team performance, and achieve revenue targets.
- Manage and cultivate a high-performing remote sales team of 4-5 sales managers (org size of 40-50 sales reps).
- Own and drive the sales strategy for the team to drive strong sales growth.
- Work closely with Go-To-Market (GTM), Operations, and Enablement teams to align on sales goals.
- Use analytics to measure performance, identify areas of improvement, and enhance sales effectiveness.
- Provide ongoing training, mentoring, and coaching to ensure managers are equipped to succeed.
- Establish clear performance metrics and regularly monitor progress.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in managing managers and leading sales teams in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
- Proven track record of managing sales managers in roles that require high performance under pressure.
- Strong people leadership capabilities, with a focus on continuous development.
- A history of exceeding ambitious sales targets and objectives.
- Highly skilled in using data to inform decisions and optimize sales performance.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- A deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities customers face.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across multiple teams.
