Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to take ownership of client relationships and oversee the successful execution of email marketing campaigns. This role requires a strategic, data-driven professional who excels in managing multiple accounts, optimizing workflows, and driving business growth through exceptional service and analytical insights.
- Act as the primary liaison for assigned clients, fostering strong, long-term relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Support and guide clients through strategic roadmaps, leveraging our Email Growth Plan (EGP) framework.
- Oversee client projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they align with defined goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Manage the overall workflow and support Email Specialists in campaign execution.
- Define project requirements, manage scope changes, and set realistic deliverables to align with client expectations.
- Ensure email marketing campaigns are executed efficiently and meet performance benchmarks.
- Streamline processes to improve project execution and overall efficiency.
- Implement at least two major workflow improvements annually to enhance delivery and performance.
- Proactively assess and mitigate potential risks in project execution.
- Successfully resolve 95%+ of project risks before escalation.
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and delivery, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Oversee coordination between Email Specialists, designers, and automation teams to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Provide regular updates to clients, addressing concerns and ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze Klaviyo data to identify performance trends, understand the story behind the numbers, and present insights to clients.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling the client's services to existing clients.
- Develop and implement account expansion strategies that align with client needs.
- Collaborate with design, email specialists, and automation teams to ensure the successful execution of campaigns and workflow management.
- Monitor key email marketing metrics such as revenue, click-through rates, and open rates to optimize performance.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in an email marketing agency managing multiple client accounts.
- Strong understanding of Klaviyo and the ability to analyze and interpret performance data.
Requirements
- Strong ability to manage and nurture client relationships and expectations effectively.
- Maintain an NPS score of 85+ and a client retention rate of 90%+.
- Expertise in overseeing and coordinating multiple projects within deadlines and budgets.
- Ensure 95%+ of client projects meet agreed deadlines and budgets.
- Ability to clearly articulate project goals, updates, and challenges to clients and internal teams.
- Maintain regular, structured communication with all assigned clients.
- Proactive identification and resolution of potential project risks.
- Skilled in implementing and optimising workflows for improved project execution.
- Strong ability to align internal teams and ensure seamless coordination.
- Comfortable using analytics to track project performance and inform decision-making.
- Ability to identify and drive business expansion opportunities within existing client accounts.
