Role Description
Extenteam is currently looking for a Remote Marketing Assistant to join our growing organization and undertake the following tasks:
- Craft social media posts that spark excitement
- Design emails that inspire action
- Keep the website fresh and engaging
- Dive into performance data to see what’s working
- Brainstorm new ideas to make us stand out
- Stay ahead of the latest trends to keep things fresh
- Build connections with franchisees, property owners, travelers, and partners
Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management:
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging posts across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages to foster community engagement
- Track performance metrics and suggest improvements

Email Marketing:
- Assist our email marketing vendor in preparing and sending email campaigns
- Maintain and grow email subscriber lists
- Analyze open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to optimize email performance

Website Maintenance:
- Update and refresh website content, including blogs and promotional pages
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the website aligns with brand standards and goals
- Assist in tracking website analytics to inform content strategy

Content Creation:
- Write compelling copy for blogs, social posts, ads, and emails
- Collaborate with the designer to create visual content using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Support video creation efforts for marketing campaigns

Campaign Support:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute digital campaigns
- Track campaign performance and prepare reports
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities

Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement, lead generation, and conversions
- Compile insights to help the team refine strategies
- Stay updated on competitor activity and industry trends

Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the owner growth team, franchise team, local destination managers, and external vendors
- Coordinate with the design and sales teams for cross-functional initiatives

Stay Current on Digital Trends:
- Research and recommend new tools, platforms, and strategies to enhance digital marketing efforts
- Experiment with emerging formats like influencer partnerships or interactive content

Support Events and Promotions:
- Assist in preparing and promoting events, like franchise discovery sessions or partner meetups

Administrative Tasks:
- Organize marketing assets, maintain calendars, and prepare presentations as needed
- Manage digital marketing tools and subscriptions to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Ability to work independently in a remote work environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional service
- Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn new software quickly and efficiently
- Willingness to ask questions when unclear about a task or process
Nice To Have
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Hospitality / Vacation rental industry experience, working with Hotels VRBO, AirBnB, etc.
Technical Requirements
- Internet speed minimum 30mbps
- i5 8th Gen or higher
- Windows 10 / MacOS Catalina or higher
- Minimum of 8 GB RAM
- Private and quiet dedicated home office area
- Back-ups in case of power or internet provider interruptions
- Good headset and webcam (preferably noise-canceling headset)
