Role Description
We are seeking a Website Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the highest standards of quality, functionality, and design accuracy across our website. In this role, you will be responsible for testing all technical and design changes, identifying bugs, and ensuring a seamless user experience. You will collaborate closely with developers, designers, and project managers to maintain a polished, high-performing, and accessible website.
Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Testing:
- Conduct manual and automated testing to verify website functionality, performance, and responsiveness.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure compatibility across platforms.
- Identify, document, and track bugs, inconsistencies, and performance issues using Jira, Trello, or Asana.
- Test and validate SEO best practices, including metadata, structured data, and performance optimizations.
- Ensure the website adheres to WCAG and ADA accessibility standards.
- Execute performance testing using tools like Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights, and WebPageTest.

Design & UX Testing:
- Compare live UI implementations against Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD designs for pixel-perfect accuracy.
- Validate user experience (UX) elements, ensuring smooth navigation and usability.
- Check typography, spacing, color schemes, and layout for brand consistency.
- Test dark mode and high-contrast modes for proper UI adaptation.

Technical QA & Collaboration:
- Work closely with developers to debug issues and validate fixes before deployment.
- Review HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS-based changes for potential errors.
- Validate Shopify, WordPress, or other CMS-based functionality, ensuring updates do not break existing features.
- Maintain and improve QA workflows, documentation, and best practices.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in website quality assurance or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for debugging purposes.
- Experience with CMS platforms like Shopify, WordPress, or Drupal.
- Proficiency in testing tools like Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, and accessibility checkers.
- Strong attention to detail with a design-focused mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with GIT or version control systems is a plus.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Shopify Liquid, custom theme testing, and checkout extensibility.
- Understanding of API testing and integrations.
