[Hiring] Principal Technical Program Manager @PAR Technology

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional technology programs that support our strategic priorities and product roadmap.

• Partner with Engineering, Product, Architecture, and other business stakeholders to drive end-to-end program execution.
• Manage interdependencies and ensure the successful delivery of scalable, high-quality SaaS solutions.
• Bring a strategic mindset, strong technical acumen, and a results-oriented approach to aligning teams.
• Navigate ambiguity and translate business priorities into measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in technical program management, software delivery, engineering program management, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile methodologies, Scrum, SAFe, Lean Portfolio Management (LPM), and DevOps practices.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, cross-functional dependencies, risks, milestones, and delivery commitments.
• Strong technical understanding of software architecture, system integrations, and scalable cloud-based platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into executable program plans and measurable outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and evaluate trade-offs.
• Experience with program management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Power BI.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience leading large-scale, multi-team technology initiatives involving complex system architecture, platform integrations, or enterprise SaaS products.
• Experience in restaurant technology, loyalty or engagement platforms, or offers solutions.
• Strong customer-centric mindset, with the ability to balance customer needs, technical considerations, product priorities, and business objectives.
• Demonstrated success improving program delivery practices, operational efficiency, and organizational execution.
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams across multiple functions and time zones.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or Lean Portfolio Management (LPM).
