Role Description

Holitna is hiring an Initial Outfitting Project Manager to join their team. The Initial Outfitting Project Manager works alongside the construction/general contractor, architectural and engineering firm, and the medical treatment facility. Initial Outfitting (IO) services include:

• Equipment planning
• Equipment purchasing
• Warehousing
• Delivery and installation
• Transition services to prepare the clinic for occupancy and activation of healthcare services

Outfitting includes medical equipment, furniture and furnishings, low voltage systems, and other miscellaneous commodities. The IO Project Manager supervises assigned project staff and directs all IO activities to meet client objectives, including:

• Meetings with customers to address all project requirements
• Coordination with multiple vendors
• Oversight of all subcontractor activities

The Project Manager must be extremely detail-oriented to monitor and track all requirements relating to design, procurement, delivery, and installation. This position reports to the General Manager and will provide status reports and budget/schedule reviews as requested.

Requirements

• This is a remote (virtual) position that requires travel, both domestic and international.
• Candidates must be able to successfully pass military background checks to gain access to military bases.
• A valid passport is required at time of hire and must be maintained throughout employment to support travel needs.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to read blueprints and interpret floor plans

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Detail-oriented individual required to be onsite at project location

Education and/or Experience

• Four-year college degree in architecture, interior design, engineering, business, or related field from an accredited college/university
• 5 years’ experience in a supervisory position
• 5 years’ experience managing medical initial outfitting/construction projects
• 2 years’ experience in Federal, DoD and/or Army medical initial outfitting/construction projects
