[Hiring] eDiscovery Project Director @Consilio LLC

Role Description

The Project Director will lead initiatives, projects, complex or strategic client engagements, or other efforts in the vertical or across verticals, as directed by the Vertical VP. This role demands a strong leader who can partner effectively with all levels of the organization globally and can be consultative, collaborative, and effective in working with clients. The Project Director is an empowered leader who must drive results, proactively identify, and resolve problems on high complexity projects. The Project Director has the primary responsibility to ensure that the project produces the required products, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost. The Project Director is accountable with the Leads for the project schedule results and leading and assisting other Project Managers on larger projects as needed.

The Project Director will manage the Team's work plan (tasks, milestones, & dependencies) and resource needs within and across teams. Communicate and coach process teams on the usage of E-PMO processes and tools. Identify and qualify project team risks, issues and scope changes and assist in their tracking using E-PMO tools and defined processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience;
• PMP certification or equivalent experience required; other project management certifications and/or training a plus;
• 8 years of progressively responsible experience in project management, program management, or other closely related roles;
• Experience managing large projects with a minimum of $1-15 million total project spending;
• In-depth knowledge of Project Management process, PMBOK® Latest Edition Project Management methodology, PM tools and processes;
• Technically competent with standard Microsoft Office Suite of software;
• Demonstrated ability to manage client expectations and maintain client satisfaction;
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to anticipate client needs;
• The ability to confront unexpected problems quickly and effectively;
• Available for a flexible schedule driven by client requirements that will periodically exceed a standard 40 hour work week depending on project needs;
• Strong teamwork, communication (written and oral), client management, and interpersonal skills;
• Demonstrated ability to manage project teams, including teams of supporting project managers.
