Role Description
Epiq Project Managers oversee and contribute to project execution for Remediation and/or Class Action administration work. Project Managers are the face of Epiq operations to our clients. Internally, they coordinate with various personnel to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Determine key milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and timelines
- Evaluate and mitigate issues, risks, capacity, and budget needs
- Monitor and report on overall project progress
- Oversee one or more Project Coordinators in the Client Services department
Job Responsibilities

Project Execution & Resource Management:
- Monitor, evaluate, and guide project staff to meet deliverables on time and within budget
- Delegate tasks and duties to the project team
- Complete tasks related to projects as needed

Staff Development:
- Apply performance standards and training to develop staff
- Provide coaching and guidance to team members
- Identify key strengths and create plans for professional development
- Provide timely feedback for corrective action

Project Financial Requirements:
- Provide timely and accurate budget/estimate review and management
- Ensure projects are within scope and manage client communication when necessary

Process Improvements:
- Look for ways to improve Epiq’s processes and procedures

Economic Objectives:
- Meet billable goals and ensure similar targets are met for direct reports

Training:
- Develop training curriculum and facilitate training classes as needed

Workforce Management:
- Create schedules and monitor forecasted work
- Review and approve time off requests and daily time entries
- Analyze work produced compared to time billed
Requirements
- Extensive project management and client experience
- Bilingualism, French and English fluency
- Strong technical orientation and excellent computer skills
- Exceptional planning and organizational skills
- Critical thinking and keen attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to articulate complex project details to clients and internal partners
- Understanding of medical, legal, and financial documentation preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in management or relevant industry experience preferred
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or Masters of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
- All work must be carried out within Canada due to data protection standards
