Role Description

This role involves working as a Technical Product Analyst to improve healthcare outcomes, particularly in the autism therapy space.

Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for new features and product improvements.
Work closely with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to ensure clarity and alignment of requirements with product goals.
Manage and optimize JIRA backlog tickets, ensuring they are clearly defined, acceptance criteria are testable, and edge cases are considered, before they go into development.
Assist in answering functionality questions for both bugs and new features, working to clarify issues early and minimize back-and-forth between teams.
Conduct exploratory testing to validate features and identify edge cases.
Investigate and document bugs by testing system functionality, mapping out current behavior, and identifying discrepancies between expected vs. actual outcomes.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to provide clear, structured bug reports, reducing back-and-forth by ensuring tickets include reproducible steps and relevant details.
Document user stories, process flows, and feature details to ensure clarity for the development team.
Support QA processes, including defining test cases and ensuring in-depth testing to uphold quality standards.
Answer product-related questions from internal team members, providing clarity on functionality and making sure requirements are well-understood by both business and technical teams.
Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to provide insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Business Analyst (or related role) in a software development environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (preferred).
QA experience (preferred).

Keen eye for detail and excel in breaking down complex ideas into clear, testable requirements.
Enjoy testing product functionality and ensuring it meets expectations before release.
Proactive approach to investigating issues, considering edge cases.
Experience at the intersection of technology and healthcare, ideally within SaaS or related tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring business goals, user needs, and quality assurance are prioritized.
Understanding of user experience principles and effective collaboration with UI/UX teams.
Highly organized and thrive when juggling multiple tasks and priorities.
Ability to analyze different user journeys to identify pain points and develop thoughtful, data-driven solutions.
Build meaningful relationships across teams, collaborating effectively to drive impactful results.
