About The Position
We are seeking a Product Owner – Interoperability for our Connect team who is interested in joining a highly dynamic and intellectually inspiring team. Verato’s SaaS software offering is a healthcare-specific Master Data Management (hMDM) platform that provides our customers with a complete and trusted 360-degree view of their patients, consumers, and providers. This product management role is focused on the integration and connectivity capabilities within Verato’s platform. This position reports to the VP of Product Management.
Job Responsibilities
· Own the delivery and execution of Verato Connect products to ensure successful adoption and use of these products by current and future Verato customers.
· Work with executives to continually refine the vision, strategy, and product roadmap for Verato Connect.
· Collaborate with stakeholders inside and outside of Verato to understand the needs of current and future customers.
· Translate customer needs and requirements into actionable initiatives, epics, and stories for the Verato Connect development team.
· Act as a product and industry subject matter experts in support of Verato’s go-to-market activities when specific expertise in Verato Connect products is needed.
· Coordinate and communicate with the rest of the product management team and engineering leads to identify and address cross-team dependencies.
· Gather and document product technical details and usage information in support of creating internal and external enablement materials.
· Work with Verato’s partnership team to collaborate with current and potential partners as it relates to integration patterns or application-specific integration.
· Formulate and promote our API, automation & integration strategy to internal and external stakeholders including the developer community.
· Work with engineering and technical writing teams to build developer experience including educational content for developers, helping them onboard faster
· Stay on top of the ever-changing healthcare ecosystem, and explore how different partners (and their developers) could use Verato’s technology to be successful
· A passion for improving healthcare access and interoperability
· 7+ of experience driving elements of the product development lifecycle, such as product roadmaps, go-to-market strategy, driving requirements, and product launch
· 5+ years of experience of developing and implementing healthcare integrations, spanning HL7 interface and FHIR-based API services into controlled environments with a strong understanding of impacts upstream and downstream.
· An appreciation for the complexity, compliance, and regulatory requirements of healthcare technology
· Experience with API Gateway, developer experience and analytics to track performance, usage and adoption. Understanding of data pipelines, storage, and access strategies
· Experience building integrations into CRMs (like Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics etc.), EHRs (like Epic, Athena Health etc.) and other integration platforms.
· Comfortable working in an agile environment with a cross functional and geographically distributed team with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
· Comfortable using tools such as Postman and Swagger. Knowledge of ad-hoc query tools and data repositories that support data extraction and manipulation
· Experience with cloud environments such as Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web services
· Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science or similar technical field
