Role Description
This role involves ensuring high-quality products and seamless user experiences as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
- Identify, track, and document bugs effectively, ensuring structured handoff to the tech team.
- Maintain clear communication across teams by updating Slack channels, structuring Jira tickets, and keeping stakeholders informed.
- Dive deep into the product to identify edge cases, ask the right questions, and enhance testing processes.
- Validate fixes and test web and mobile applications to ensure a high-quality user experience.
- Create, maintain, and improve test cases (both manual and automated) to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Work with engineers to refine testing processes and reduce bug resolution time.
- Proactively identify recurring issues and suggest long-term solutions to minimize future bugs.
- Collaborate closely with fellow QA Engineers, the Lead QA Engineer, and the Software Engineers on creating great features.
Qualifications
- Passionate about delivering high-quality products.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs.
- Experience in testing web and mobile applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and keep workflows structured.
- Strong understanding of how different product components interact.
- Experience working in SaaS, fast-moving tech environments, or quality assurance roles.
Requirements
- Strong execution and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset for tracking, documenting, and prioritizing tasks.
- Problem-solving ability to navigate complex products.
- Experience in testing web and mobile applications.
- Excellent communication skills for clarity in issue tracking and resolution.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Slack, or similar tracking systems (a plus).
- Experience in Agile methodologies and fast-moving tech environments (a plus).
